We were having issues with our dog and seizures, which we thought may have been triggered by allergies. We switched his diet to a "limited ingredient diet" and we have seen good results so far. The biggest thing for us was taking wheat and rice out of his diet. Similar to LGA, we also changed the main protein in the food from three sources to just one source.
The other thing I found while I was doing dog allergy research is that some dogs are very sensitive to things such as floor cleaners, chemicals, and laundry detergents. Since our dog absolutely loves blankets we have started to be more careful about how we wash them.
