Other than the previews, (Dark Knight Returns and Prometheus) the movie was great and pretty kid friendly. My younger kids are 10 and 12 and loved every second. They have seen the 2 Batmans though
so it would take more than the Avengers to scare them. It's on par with Iron Man and Thor.
Sounds like a good excuse to go see it first.
