Yesterday, I saw Brokeback Mountain with my wife at a matinee showing.
The movie is excellent with an amazing score, fantastic cinematography, a brilliant story and the picturesque backdrop of Alberta.
It was a great piece on inner conflict, how it relates to societal expecations and the regret that comes with being unable to truly be who you are by following your heart.
I would recommend this movie to anyone and would advise those that would get all hung up on the homosexual aspect of the film to not deprive themselves of seeing this movie because of that.
The "sex scenes" are tastefully done and are not graphic so you don't have to feel uncomfortable.
The emotion of the story is very powerful and compelling.
I was disappointed that there wasn't the inclusion of a scene where Ennis Del Mar included pudding on the weekly provisions list.

Kidding!
