I'm not in the bible business, as Textcritic is, though, so I wouldn't be able to say if that was what he was referring to or not, or if there's more to it than that (I am sure there probably is).

I would argue though that while the bible encourages a view of marriage it doesnt prescribe it, nor does it specifically ban same sex marriage, which, if you assume the lord is both omnipotant and the bible is his literal word, one would assume the lord would ban it specifically (assuming he cared).
