My favorite part was the entire movie. So gooooood.

As for the "where did Hulk learn to control." It is referenced when he came to earth and the oldman points out that he looked to move away from population to crash where he did (from what I understood) but the entire scene was a reference to a scene in Ultimates 2 where Banner shows up and walks at the attacking robots and lets the robot come at him and then transforms.

He's not "in control" so much as he is in touch with his inner sociopath.
