This is ridiculous "Gods design for marriage" my @ss, what about Gods design for infidels, or slaves, or women, or adulterers. Either take it all or stop trying to pick and choose which of Gods commandments should be become laws to govern everyone including those who don't adhere to your faith. This is nothing but one of the last in a long line of desperate attempts to hang on to ridiculous ancient superstition designed to subjugate the masses. Society as a whole dictates the moral compass of itself or we would still have slavery and be stoning women to death, it takes a long time but we will inevitably shed ourselves of this like was done with slavery.
