Battenburg markings make me take authority less seriously. I expect a guy sipping tea from fine china with crumpet crumbs stuck in his stache politely asking me to please slow down if I don't mind and it's not a bother.
Maybe U of C Campus Security should switch to Battenburg markings come to think of it...
