Agreed on the Battenburg markings.
The only reason the CPS is looking at the Black & Whites is cost savings. The reason the original Black & Whites were done the way they were is that it was easy to repaint a removable door / hood / trunk to a different colour. In this case they're just going to wrap one door, and put a couple of minor stickers on elsewhere.
It might look "cool" and "retro", but visibility has taken a few steps back.
