It may be the size of some of the cops, but now that all cars seem to have a full size laptop as well as all the other electronic gear, there's certainly not the same lap/arm/knee space in this compared to a Crown Vic. My parents had a full size 1978 Impala and you could fit a full size adult comfortably up front in the bench seat. I assume the current/now defunct Crown Vic platform has remained similar.
