All good choices, but each of them has had one or two mediocre, movies on their resume. This is in contrast to Nolan who has gone 7 for 7 on movies he has directed. I hate to use rottentomatoes as a way to rate someone, but his average rating of 88% pretty much speaks for itself.

Quentin's ratings are very high as well and I think he has gone 6 for 6 with his main flicks. I don't count his Grindhouse flick, even thought I did like it, but that was a goofy passion project for him and Rodriguez. Pulp, Reservoir, Jackie, IB and both Kill Bills were all very different and all very good.
Not sure what Fincher's miss was, outside of Alien 3. Everything else he has done has been solid IMO.
Nolan, Fincher and Quentin are my fav directors and haven't done much wrong in their work.
