Crockford is good for some fundamentals on JS.
jQuery in Action is a good way to be introduced to jQuery. Though it is now a few jQuery versions behind, I think it is relevant enough as an introduction to the framework to still be of use. It isn't much good as a reference on the API anyways, and the online API docs should have that covered.
