The Saskatchewan Rough Rider coin issue in the WRGMG thread had me thinking.
Anyone collect coins? What do you collect? Any interesting pieces you have? Are you buying, perhaps selling anything?
Personally I have collected general world coins for decades, but also have some cool silver, gold and even platinum coins.
The gold Haida coin from 1997 is a well known and sought after Canadian coin. 22K gold, $200 face value.
Also have the Canadian Mints first square coin, the 2006 $3 beaver. Sterling silver with a gold plating.
And from a local perspective, the 2006 Pengrowth Saddledome. 99.99% silver, holographic.
Interesting hobby, and quite often are pretty darn good investments if you shop wisely!
