The last refresh in October was just a minor spec bump, so in reality, the last major refresh was 426 days ago in Feb 2011. This is why everyone is holding on now waiting for the refresh. There were a lot of rumours this week that it would be announced, but no one knows for sure. In any event, everyone is saying the refresh is imminent, certainly by June.
Eagle Eye, I am waiting for a new MBP as well. The consensus is: if you really need a MBP now, go ahead and get one. They are good machines and there is nothing wrong with the late 2011 MBP. If you can wait a couple of months, then wait. The new release is coming. And you can still get 2011 MBP when the 2012's come out, so if you wanted to stick with a 2011, you could likely get it a few hundred cheaper.
