Well, they'll still be the official opposition, so they're not DOA. Certainly not the result they were hoping for, though. With some time in opposition they'll be able to prove themselves a bit before the next election.

I think the lesson the WRP needs to take away from this is that Albertans are fiscally conservative, but there's absolutely no appetite for social conservatism any more. Expect them to spend more time vetting candidates to weed out the Hunsbergers and Leeches of the world next time.
