I believe competition is the key to improvement.

I believe that the Wildrose Party is a good competitor, and has made a significantly positive impact on this election and ultimately, on our province. They are shining a light on a number of issues that need review and action. I have friends in the party too.

I am appalled at some of the comments attributed to Wildrose members with respect to the LGBT community, prolife/prochoice issues, and issues of race.

I believe the best idea should win.

I believe politics needs more people to behave with “class”.

I believe Alberta has had it pretty good for the last 41 years.

I believe change is necessary and good.

I believe drastic change in a stable, positive environment is almost always counterproductive.

I believe much of the groundswell of support behind the Wildrose is due to the intermittent past arrogance and at times, sub-standard leadership of the PC party. Interestingly, the PC 41 years at the helm is likely the biggest reason for the support Wildrose is enjoying. Sometimes people want change for the sake of change. This is rarely good.

I believe the Wildrose need some proven experience.

I believe Redford is different enough to be given a chance to govern. Through this time period, the Wildrose can actually gain some experience, form a credible opposition and prepare for the next election with a track record versus what most of us have - a laundry list of complaints and things we say we can do better. Almost anyone can be an “arm chair” quarterback. I’d like to see my “starting quarterback” for the next few years in some real games before I sign her to a long term contract.

I believe we are better for the Wildrose being in the race.

I am voting PC this time.
