I don't disagree.
Their theory though is that there are no consequences as long as all involved understand whats what going in. Like minded individuals making like minded decisions....no reason it cant work unless conditioned to believe otherwise.
I think there are all kinds of offshoot problems that could arise as well, most notably if kids are involved, but there one argument that makes sense is....why cant i love more than one at a time? The example of when you have a second child, does that mean you dont love your first one as much? Of course not. So why cant that be applied to adult relationships as well? Love is not an finite commodity.
At any rate...i just found the whole concept somewhat interesting to read.
