Lidstrom by far over Chara. Frankly it isn't even close. Lidstrom has been selected to the 1st Team All Stars 10 times... Chara twice.
And yes... I consider Lidstrom to be the only legitimate SUPERstar defenseman currently playing in the NHL. There are a lot of all star d-men playing but no other superstars.
