Maybe its the liquor talking but people throw the term loser around way to often on this board, and especially seem to take some kind of grim pleasure in throwing it at a player like Iginla who has literally done everything for this franchise that was asked for him.
Maybe it would have been better for him a few years back to tell the Flames and the fanbase to cram it when he reached free agency.
Sometimes I really strongly dislike our fanbase. I get that people are angry but the amount of over the top statements is getting kinda sickening.
I know I'll take a ton of heat for posting this.
But some people are taking this team and this sport way to fracking seriously.
The only control you have is to attend or not attend a game, to watch a game on tv or not watch it on tv.
But calling a guy like Iginla a loser makes me really question the whole value of a internet hockey discussion board.
