This is the one time I'll stand up for Bush.

DP World is apparently one of the best companies in the world when it comes to this type of business. It would be racist to suggest that Arabs can't be trusted on the basis of their ethnicity. Dubai is also a major commercial centre, not unlike New York, Tokyo, London, Hong Kong, and Singapore. There is nothing unusual or alarming about this aquisition.

I understand that there is some apprehension because at least two of the 9/11 hijackers had ties to the UAE, and the country's banking system has allegedly been used to launder money for terrorists, but I think people are going a little overboard with this. Afterall, DP World will still be hiring Americans to work in the ports.
