I usually ignore added info when it comes from politicians. There's usually a negitive slant and some fear mongering added in.

The test drive and the salesmans ability to answer my questions will help to determine if I buy his car. As for the lemon comment, I do my research before choosing an automaker or type of vehicle.

That assumes all politicians and car salesmen are honest with what they tell you. You and I both know that is not always the truth.
