The more I think about it, the more I agree. In fact, I think it goes even deeper than purely physical strength (to include other "strengths" such as confidence, leadership, etc..) and includes both genders.
Among my friends and family, the ones who vote Conservative are the "leaders" of their household. They make the most money, they are the dominant personality. This usually falls among gender lines (men voting conservative), but in the circumstances where the woman is the more dominant "leader" in the family, she tends to vote Conservative more than her husband/boyfriend.
Alas, there was no distinction for Wildrose (that must be for
really strong men)
