Was going to post the same thing about JPA being a 1B/DH, not likely unless he improves.
I figure even if D'Arnaud comes up later this year, and then makes the squad next year, it is likely a time share at C until at least 2014, then the Jays can explore what they can get for one or the other. If they are both capable and hitting well, maybe you have a situation in 2014 and beyond where one catches, and the other plays some DH/1B, but they would have to be able to hold their own in one of their slots.
However, even if the "back-up" isn't good enough to hit at 1B/DH, in all liklihood the Jays still have an asset that could start for other teams at C so the trade value should be there.
