More often then not these situations tend to play themselves out naturally, as it is pretty rare for 2 young guys to both reach the potential that we hope they can. Hopefully we are having this problem in a year or two from now.

Yeah, I don't want to be Mr. negative on JPA, but the only way he's playing 1st base or DH is if he takes some really big steps offensively. In a perfect world I'd love to see him at DH with that type of power, but if he can't get on base and his numbers continue like this, it's not looking good.
For now though, I love how he's working with the staff and am very comfortable with him behind the plate. Let's just hope his K Rate gets to a normal level, it's a little alarming how bad it is right now.
