I know, but I dont like the system. I think it has morphed into more than what it was intended for.
Like how the restaurant we went to for Mothers Day added an automatic 18% tip because we had more than 6 people.
I found adding the tip to be obnoxious and an abuse of the TIP system. Fine, I usually tip 25%, thanks for the savings!

I am not the complaining about the poor wages and crappy shifts that servers have to endure.
If they have few other options, then I guess it shouldnt be a problem. If it is a problem, they should do something about it.
