My condo complex allows dogs, but the rule is you leave your dog on a leash and not let it piss on the grass. Reasonable to me, ruined grass is ugly, dogs wandering around is unfair to others.
I've lived here ~20 months, and have had to talk to the same woman three times about her dog wandering over and doing its business right in front of my patio.
When I got a letter from the condo management company last summer because my grass was damaged and they it assumed it was my dogs, which it was not, I was quite ticked off. I went over to that lady's unit, showed her the letter and told her this was bull####. I also called the condo management company and explained the situation. Haven't seen her all winter, but I did notice tracks--I let that slide.
Wednesday morning around 6:00 a.m., there was her dog pissing two feet away from my patio, then it took a #### before it headed back to its own home. I was laying in bed, fuming, but just kept laying there getting more grumpy. "Here we go again," I thought. Three minutes later the woman arrives to pick up her dog's poop. I was still kept watching. I wish I had photographed it.
Just a few minutes ago, I went over to her unit and sprayed the grass all around her patio with vinegar, trying to make it look like dog pee damage. Definitely an ###hole thing to do, and when the grass is brown and dead I'm going to complain to the condo association and management company.
