Couple rough patches again today,This is what im seeing IMO:
-Giving up too many odd man rushes.
-Trying to carry it out of our zone leading to turnovers.
-Trying to play solo in the offensive zone.
-Passing stopping in the Offensive zone.
-Forwards way too far ahead of the play on the breakouts
-Dmen getting ahead of the puck carrier (if its turned over no one back)
-Dmen crossing the ice to the other side and leaving their side open.
The past few nights we had great runs and it mostly came from high puck movement in the offensive zone and we we get into ruts it because the puck movement stops. The 3 blown leads today were all results of the forwards being out of the zone way too fast and the Dmen getting confused on assignments.
Lets start fresh and have some fun, I could tell people where getting very irritated today as the games wore on and it only made things worse for us.
