The community is similar to the deaf community in that internally there is divisions between what kinds of treatments are considered acceptable. External to the community though, the Deaf community has a lot more acceptance and actually has their programs at least partially funded by the government. I don't think there is much more that can be gained here (I have learned quite a bit) - I know that you are not a spokesperson for this issue but I have yet to hear a compelling argument (or any argument for that matter) on why this issue
and this issue only (as far as I know) brings the body to the mind and not the mind to the body.
