Anyway, CBC's compass poll for me...78% WR, 65% PC, 47% Lib, 29% ND. Partially because, duh, and partially because, like SebC, it seems that expecting equal treatment makes you hard social conservative. Also, the PCs are on the wrong side of the fiscal conservativism/liberalism line.

The CBC survey implies that being opposed to left-wing government social engineering = hard social conservative. It ranked me in the lower right corner when in reality I'm closer to the upper right corner.
I do not want the current abortion policy changed, I don't want private religious schools getting public funding, I am for gay marriage, I am for legalization of marijuana, I am generally for any proposition that allows people to do what they want without government interference (just with the caveat that I don't have to actively pay taxes to encourage it), yet I'm labelled as a hard social conservative. Complete BS.
