I lost respect for Danielle Smith when she got up in front of a thousand municipal politicians at an AUMA conference and chided us as being whiners. Even if she thought so, it's bad strategy to piss off people who are almost guaranteed to vote and carry a lot of influence in communities throughout Alberta. What she calls whining I consider to be a terrific passion for the communities in which we serve. It's a partnership, Danielle, and it's bad form to alienate your municipal partners.
