The new Gamespot hands on actually has the pace of Oblivion faster on the 360 than PC. Everything is essentially the same though.
I have a 360 because quite frankly I didn't have the money to actually buy a game capable PC and when i did do PC gaming I hated having to upgrade everything every 18 months.
But for those that don't mind doing that then certainly go with the PC. But for console gaming 360 hands down.
As for games...Fight Night is great as is Need for Speed Most Wanted. There are several other very good games and the graphics difference between old console and 360 versions can be astounding. But you do need an HD preferably widescreen TV to take full advantage of the 360.
