A question or two...
The trade in process there seems fairly opaque...is there any 'this guy is working me on the sale price, so lowball the trade in'? (For the record I'm almost the other way...not a haggler, so approaching any upcoming negotiations with a certain amount of dread).
Second, I assume it makes sense to have anything visible taken care of before you take it in to be apprased as a trade in? I have a few imperfections in my wind shield and would think it would knock the trade in value more than the cost of new glass.
Thank you to all the automotive professionals that are in this thread giving back to the CP community...my dad worked on the auto body/service side for decades and any time I've shown him anything from this thread he just nodded his head and agreed.
