I like the "I'm not going to step foot on this bridge out of protest" crowd. When it' -30 outside and you're walking beside the river and need to cross by foot, I fully expect them to go the long route.

I also think the bridge is going to be very popular in the summer time, especially during city events such as the Folk Festival.
