In Vancouver, they tried to set up camp on Commercial Drive after getting kicked out of downtown. In downtown they were occupying the nicest public space downtown. They then figured they could move into the brand new park built in a lower income neighbourhood, as it was lower income and the people would cause less trouble.
The local mothers confronted the protestors and told them to F-off. Commercial Drive is home to many low income people, the people they were supposedly representing, but they wanted nothing to do with occupy:
