My family has been going to Invermere steadily for over the last decade. And I can say with some certainty that I despise most 'Gorbys' even though I am one. A lot of Calgarians come out to the Valley and assume their feces doesn't sink. And that the locals should suck up to them.
My sister one summer worked at Sobeys. Some Calgarians assumed that she was working there so she must be from there. Starting asking her if she'd every been to the 'big city' and generally being condescending deltabravos.
