The British Columbia government approved this development, not Alberta. Just because Albertans (as well as British Columbians and people from all over the world) will use the mountain, if built, doesn't make it Albertans' fault - Albertans have zero influence over BC's government decision-making. In fact, I see just about as many "keep Jumbo wild" bumper stickers on Alberta cars in the Columbia Valley as I see them on cars with BC plates.
