Yeah, I've been there. I used to take trips there with my grandparents to look at the beautiful views and just spend the day. I've seen what's going on there. Logging, mining, etc.
So what are you suggesting? Because there's already a huge amount of environmental degradation, why not keep going and build a ski resort?
If denigrating Albertans is what I'm doing, then so be it. The single-mindedness of Albertans can be concerning at times. All I'm saying is Albertans, at the end of the day, can go home. British Columbians (both Native and otherwise) who live in the Kootenays, already live there and have to live with it.
How am I acting righteous by pointing out that Albertans often don't consider the "other side"?
