What are you basing this off of? A high K rate doesn't necessarily mean he's struggling with off-speed stuff. I haven't read anything that says Snider has struggled with off-speed this spring so I'm interested to know if you're basing this off of reports or are just looking at the numbers.
Keith Law praised Snider for his mechanical adjustments and re-positioning his hands saying they allow him to cover a lot more of plate than past years. That should be helping with the off-speed stuff if anything.
Snider is going to strike out. A lot. And that's okay if his power game develops and he still manages to get on base at a decent clip. It's just who he is and trying to get him to cut down the K's is just going to sap his power and that's a terrible trade-off.
