The issue is that no one knows where these guys are, they could be in your neighborhood. Of course anyone with kids would want this information and when we had an extended stay on the US, I used this:

Found out about it in a movie with Clive Owen, it was in the movie and turned out to be a real website. Does anyone know if there is such a registry in Canada? The only one i could find is one that was for RCMP only.
