Just sit back and enjoy the show, I don't know the explanation for why these walkers aren't attacking this mysterious woman, I've long forgotten how they explained it in the books, maybe she read to them and they've fallen in love for her haha.
This is too thought out for a Zombie show but I think it's better to forget other Zombie shows and movies, and just let this Zombie world come together.

The zombies in this show though do not seem to be intelligent. They don't open doors/gates, they just smash their faces and flail their arms until it breaks. They were also willing to walk thru a flaming barn for an opportunity at rick/carl. Why would they give up on Michonne once they lose their arms? In season 1 that zombie was crawling thru the park trying to get at rick, and it never had any legs.
I hope they explain it next season.
