Also he needs a team that caters to his style of play...not Elway's. Looking back on the games Tebow played for Denver you can tell for the first 3/4 he played Fox/Elway style and his numbers were poor. It wasn't until the last 10min of the game where Denver was behind where it looked like Tebow would start to call his own shots or Fox/Elway would finally let Tebow do what he does...hence the "miracle" come backs.

If Tebow ends up on a team that forms around him rather than him forming around the team it could be an amazing thing.

For me this trade is great because of the huge pressure Elway has put on himself and the organization, and that Tebow may finally get his fair shot - far away from the Bronco train wreck

Denver totally catered their whole offense/team around Tebow. He will never be in a better situation with a team that was willing to run a college offense, a defense that could with stand having the short fields after Tebow failed to move the ball and score points when Tebow couldn't and a kicker who could make 50+ yard FG's because Tebow could only get on first down.

Big games plural? When he faced good teams like Detroit and NE in the regular season he was awful. When the team needed a win to get in the play-offs he went 0-2 and they had to get in through the back door.

He won one big game against Pittsburgh in which he had about 0 yards in the second half and lucked out that Roethisberger was playing on half a leg and was basically a statue.

Finally, again against a good team in a big game he was once again pathetic against the Pats in the play-offs.

Because they played better opponents in those games. Did you think that the Packers would have lost to Denver if Tebow had played?
