yeah the same Hurricane fans that show up in the hundreds for their home games? UF controls that state, UF has a huge alumni base (50k students) and a large footprint in the state. UM is a private school that is around 10k students. Just in sheer numbers there will be more Gator Fans/Alumni in south Florida than UM.
Also Miami needs to do something to get fans into the stadium, that goes for both their pro and college teams. UM is no were near 1/2 full for home games.
Tim was a great college QB that has a weird throwing motion. His career completion % at UF was 66.4% and the record is held by Sam Bradford at 67.6%, Tim was labeled as a terrible passer and inaccurate out of college yet his career comp % was 1.2% lower than the record holder. which isn't bad when you consider that Tebow Started 3 years (45 games) and played a bit as a freshman. His TD and INT were exactly the same as Bradfords 88/16 out of college too. But Tim is labeled as a bad passer? C'mon man, leave the kid alone with his throwing motion and he will be fine. He might not be Elway or Marino but he will and can be a serviceable qb in the NFL.
