I apologize for not updating you all on my trip to Stoke. Unfortunately Norwich lost 1-0, and if they had been able to hang on for the draw, it would have been VERY flattering. Just a boring, uneventful match. Obviously I expected that because Stoke isn't exactly renowned for their exciting play. To sum it up: 4 hours on a bus, one of the Canaries' worst showings of the season, and 4 more hours on a bus. That being said, I would do it all again and it was still a fun experience.
So today I've got tickets for the Wigan match at Carrow Road. Despite Wigan being at the bottom of the table, the locals here are saying this one is a "must win" for Norwich. I'm not one for hyperbole, but I do get that sinking feeling that if they screwed up today against Wigan, they might regret those lost points. They have some tough matches in the home stretch (Liverpool, Man City, Newcastle, etc.) so they really need to win against Wigan, Wolves, and even Villa to ensure their safety. I think they'll be fine, but I'd hate to see a scare towards the end.
