I always figured this would be an excellent premise for a TV show. The book basically is a "factual" account from survivors all over the world. So it jumps all across the planet and tells individual stories about how people made it through the certain stages of the apocalypse.
What I liked about it was the way it was presented. IMO it could easily be a TV show based on the Zombies. That would be the only similarity between episodes, each week, new cast, new locations but still progresses the overall story line of how the world reacts and survives a "outbreak" from Japan to South Africa to Canada. They were all in it together.
Anyway I digress...tangent over...
