Chandra Crawford of Canada has won the gold medal in the Olympic women's cross-country sprint event in Turin, Italy.The 22-year-old Canmore, Alberta native took the lead from Germany's Claudia Kuenzel at about the halfway mark, then powered through the final sprint to finish ahead of Kuenzel, who took the silver medal.
