Farting is obnoxious. We don't make people stand outside if they want to rip ass. I'm sure some people don't appreciate walking out onto the street when a diesel truck pulls away and they get a whiff of it.
I'm just wondering who exactly we're protecting, and who exactly has been killed by this menace. You're breathing in such trace amounts, how exactly is it any more carcinogenic than a twinkie?
