Thanks for the info. Here's what Im looking at. I pay around $120 for pretty much basic cable with no HD channels or PVR and extreme highspeed.
The Telus promo says $40 for the first 6 months and $65 for any month after that. Includes an HD reciever, actual HD channels, and a PVR and Optik internet. PLUS a free Laptop.
If I have to pay an extra 10 bucks a month to get bumped to the 25 mb/s internet I will and I would still be saving a buttload. Im calling shaw to find our if I can get similar service for a similar price. If not I'm likely out. Saving $50/month and having better service is a no brainer for me. Especially with the HD and PVR worked in.
