To be fair, the situation he's in is designed for failure:
- He promised Nino a spot out of training camp and, while the coach refuses to play him much more (might change now that Rolston is gone...though they've gone the other way it seems, making him a healthy scratch despite "his play not being a problem"...in favour of Jay Pandolfo ),
- He's probably not ready at early 19 (He and Bartschi are only 1 month difference in age)
- He's playing with plugs at ~7 minutes a night. Imagine Bartschi playing with Jackman and Bouma...yeah.

I can't help but think Bartschi would get a very similar result if he was on our 4th line this year. Thankfully, the Flames management is less inept (more ept?) than the Islanders and their owner's semi-insane mentality (speculation is that he was kept up to hit cap floor with his massive bonuses).

6-8 is my thought. Too many teams wouldn't mind rolling the dice on a nice looking forward prospect.
