My old cheap vacuum bit the dust last weekend. I actually have two vacuums ... one is a Kenmore canister type (this piece of crap barely pics up anything, let alone dog hair which I have a ton of laying around) and I also have a cheapo Dirt Devil Jaguar canister which surprisingly worked 100% better than the Kenmore... or at least it did til the plastic handle on the powerhead broke.

I keep hearing people talking about how great a Dyson is, so the better half and I went out last night to look at them. Ended up buying the new Dyson DC43 Animal

which is there latest ball type upright specifically designed for people who have pets. Cost was $699.99. (sigh... I could have bought a lift kit for my Jeep for that kind of coin!)

I sure hope I didn't waste my money.
