Wild Survive
Whew.
For the second consecutive game, Jamie Storr could not give the Wild anything resembling a quality start. But thankfully for the team, Minny's top line of Sundin-Spezza-Iginla was in fine form, allowing the team to escape with a 7-6 win over the Coyotoes
Sundin led the squad with 1 goals and 5 points, while Spezza and Iginla enjoyed 3 point nights. For Iginla, the 3 points allowed him to reach the century mark for the season while closing in on both the CPHL scoring lead, as well as the single season goal record.
After the game, GM Farhall was pleased with the win, though did not hold back his disdain for Jamie Storr.
"Its tough to win in this league when your goalie can't stop anything thrown his way. Thankfully with our deal this evening that will hopefully be resolved.".
In other game notes, veteran Tom Fitzgerald scored his first goal as a member of the Wild and Dan Sedin notched a pair.
