ME2 was more repetitive in that regard. If I remember right, the singularity for example was a real mofo in ME1.

I loved my adept in ME1. I was practically a god on the battlefield. The fight on the side of Citadel Tower was hilarious as most powers would result in the enemies being thrown off into space. I found the adept to be much less of a rewarding class choice in ME2. Not being able to use your powers, such as lift, on shielded or armored enemies was incredibly weak. I get that they have to keep classes from becoming over powered but somehow between the 2 games my Shepard went from being able to lift colossi with his biotics to barely being able to pick up one of those little security mechs. Give me my power back!
